This week, Lucasfilm Animation dropped the full length trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ the spinoff of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’.
The trailer features all five clones in action and showcases some new and familiar characters that will appear throughout the show. I don’t want to go into too much detail with the trailer as it is a sight to behold but there are some pretty epic things to come.
A little backstory on our new heroes, the Bad Batch debuted at the start of the seventh and final season of ‘The Clone Wars’ and the became an instant hit. Clone Force 99 (named after the defunct clone who sacrificed himself at the Battle of Kamino) consists of Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair and new member Echo. This squad plays by their own rules but they get the job done. In just four episodes, they showed fans that they are a force to be reckoned with and they are five of the most unique clones to come out of the show. I also have to give props to voice actor Dee Bradley Baker for his amazing performance in giving each clone their own voice and personality. It really shows his range as an actor and shows that he can take on any role.
